With our South Tyrolean organic wines, our main aim is to provide you with moments of enjoyment. In addition, we want you to taste and experience what makes each vintage special. It's not about producing better wine year after year, but about capturing and interpreting exactly what nature has given us. From the vine to the glass, unfined and authentic.
Our South Tyrolean orange wines are one of the specialities in our range. Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc grapes are fermented together with the mash, i.e. the grape skins and seeds, a process that is usually associated with red wine production.
As a result of this mash fermentation, more colouring and tannins are released from the skins and seeds, which then pass into the wine. The white wines produced during this mash fermentation process are also known as amber or orange wines and are characterised by their distinctive tannin structure, delightful aroma and orange to amber hue.
